Description
This kit is used to convert unmethylated cytosine residues into uracil for gene methylation analysis in genomic DNA. Methylated cytosine residues (5-methylcytosine) remain unchanged. PCR primers and/or probes can be designed to distinguish methylated cytosines from unmethylated.
